In late June I attended the annual Zest awards, hosted by Western Sydney Community Forum. The Zest awards is the premier event for the community sector in greater Western Sydney and it was a night full of great food and entertainers from across the region. Zest showcases the vital work of the community sector and shines a light on the passionate, dedicated and often unsung heroes in our region. It is not just about recognising and acknowledging those who put their time aside to aid their community, but the individuals or groups that are nominated for these awards are automatically considered for the ZEST partnering for impact grant valued at $5000 to support their work. I congratulate all nominees and winners for their expertise, dedication and hard work in all they have accomplished. A big thank you and congratulations to CEO Billie Sankovic and the whole Western Sydney Community Forum team for putting on a fantastic event to celebrate our community sector each and every year.
