I would like to congratulate Lily from Clancy Catholic College on her recent return from an international football tour across Germany, the Czech Republic and Austria, where she proudly represented the Western Sydney Wanderers Girls U15 squad. The tour provided an outstanding opportunity to compete against some of Europe's leading youth academies, exposing players to high-level international competition and valuable development experiences. Lily and her teammates demonstrated great skill, determination and teamwork throughout the campaign, culminating in an impressive seventh-place finish at the 28th International Cordial Cup in Austria, competing against 20 teams from around the world. Achievements such as these highlight the strength of emerging sporting talent in south-west Sydney. Our region continues to produce promising young athletes who are excelling on national and international stages through their hard work, commitment and passion for sport. Lily's efforts on this tour are a credit to her, her family, her coaches and teammates. I congratulate her on this wonderful achievement and wish her every success as she continues her football journey.
