While Wenden Swimming Club isn't based in my electorate, so its amazing athletes are. So I want to take a moment to recognise something truly special happening just beyond my borders. For 51 years now, Wenden has been quietly building a legacy — not just of athletic excellence, but of community strength. With 45 members, including swimmers from six to sixty-one, this club proves that you don't need big numbers to make a big impact. Every Wednesday at the Wenden Aquatic Centre, they come together — not just to swim, but to support, grow, and connect. Their commitment goes beyond the pool. From raising funds for causes like multiple sclerosis to organising regular social events, this is a club that understands what community is all about. And I's also like to extend a special congratulations to this year's club champions — Jorja Suga and Ben Taylor. I look forward to seeing Wenden continue to foster sporting excellence and raise the next generation of talented Australian swimmers.
