It was an immense honour to attend the newly opened BAPS Swaminarayan Hindu Mandir and Cultural Precinct in Kemps Creek for Vishwa Shanti Mahayagna on 5 March. This sacred gathering, dedicated to prayers for world peace—something much needed in these times—marked the beginning of the Celebrate Peace month-long celebration, held in the presence of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, whose wisdom and guidance inspire countless individuals worldwide. At 92 years old, His Holiness has travelled to Australia to unite communities in the spirit of harmony and divine blessings. It was an immense honour and privilege to meet and chat with him on the day. His teachings remind us that true peace begins within each of us and has the power to transform societies and bring nations together for universal wellbeing. Over the years, I have seen the BAPS community continue to make an incredible impact through tree planting, food and blood donation drives, and humanitarian efforts. This new mandir will help supercharge those efforts. I thank them for their dedication to my community.
