It was an honour to join the Multifaith Iftar gathering at Unity Grammar School on March 4, where people from diverse faiths and backgrounds came together in the spirit of peace, understanding, and unity. The evening began with the breaking of fast, a moment that symbolised shared values of gratitude and compassion that transcend religious and cultural differences. As we shared this tradition, meaningful interfaith conversations unfolded, offering new perspectives and deepening our appreciation for one another's beliefs. The recitation of the Quran also added a spiritual dimension to our evening, enriching our appreciation of Islamic traditions. The iftar feast was a delicious spread of dishes, bringing flavours from different traditions to one table for us to enjoy. This evening was a testament to the fact that harmony is built through shared experiences and mutual respect.
