I give a massive wrap to South West Mounties Magic, whose opens team have made the grand final of the Netball NSW Premier League in their inaugural year. Finishing fourth in the regular season, the Magic played in the elimination semifinal last Wednesday night, running away with a convincing 19 goal win over Eastwood Ryde. They backed that up on Saturday night in the preliminary final, defeating the Manly Warringah Sapphires in a nail-biting encounter that finished 55 goals to 54. This Sunday they take on North Shore United in the big one at Netball Central, and both the member for Liverpool and I will be in attendance. On behalf of Leppington and all of south-west Sydney, we are right behind you and wish the team all the best in the big grand final. A huge congratulations to the players, staff and the teams at Liverpool City Netball Association and Mounties Care for achieving so much in such a short period of time. Regardless of the result, this is a phenomenal effort in the team's first year. Go the Magic!
