What a season it has been for the SD Raiders Women! After a remarkable 2026 campaign, the Raiders were crowned League One Women's Premiers securing promotion to the NPL Women's NSW competition for 2027. This win is a testament to their exceptional teamwork, determination and outstanding performance. But achievements like this are never just about what happens on the field. Behind every player is a network of coaches, volunteers, families, supporters and club officials who give their time and energy to help the team succeed. Congratulations to club coaches, captains and every player who contributed to this season. I also want to recognise Catherine Cannuli for her continued support of the women's program and everyone across SD Raiders who helped make this possible. It's fantastic to see a strong support network uplifting young women in sports and witnessing rising stars who excel on and off the field. Promotion is a major milestone, and one the entire SD Raiders community should be proud of.
