I rise to acknowledge the Ramcharitmanas Institute Global annual fundraising day on 24 May at the Plough & Harrow in Western Sydney Parklands. The event brought together families, volunteers and supporters for a day of community connection, beginning with a prayer to Shree Ram Ji, followed by a walk-a-thon, social activities, children's entertainment and sporting activities. It wonderful to hear of events where people of all ages participating and supporting such a worthwhile cause. As a not-for‑profit organisation, the Ramcharitmanas Institute Global is dedicated to sharing the teachings and wisdom of the Vedas, helping individuals strengthen their wellbeing, navigate life's challenges and foster a sense of purpose and belonging. Through its programs and outreach, the organisation continues to make a positive contribution to the broader community by promoting personal growth, cultural understanding and spiritual enrichment. I thank my good friend Yogi Kashyap, President of Ramcharitmanas Institute Global, for his leadership and commitment to serving the community, and for hosting such a successful and meaningful event.
