On 30 March, I had the opportunity to attend the Ramadan Shopping Festival. Initially conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, it served as a vital platform for small businesses that found themselves with stocked products and nowhere to market them due to the pandemic restrictions. Recognizing the challenge, the festival was launched to offer these businesses an opportunity to showcase their diverse offerings at minimal cost. This event is a vibrant multicultural community festival that facilitates small businesses in expanding their audience and entering new markets more easily, making it an essential event for economic recovery and growth in these challenging times. The market-like atmosphere presents an extensive range of items including women's fashion, children's clothing, various accessories, gifts, souvenirs, and gadgets. Each year the festival aims to be bigger and better, making it a must-visit event for anyone interested in unique finds and supporting local small businesses.
