I wish to commend Eschol Park FC on organising an extremely successful Pink and Blue Gala Day on 29 June, which I had the pleasure of attending. The atmosphere was energetic, with various fundraising activities including raffles, auctions, and the sale of special merchandise, all aimed at supporting cancer research and raising awareness for breast and prostate cancer. The support from the community was overwhelming, and I am thrilled to congratulate the club for raising an impressive $27,000 for Cancer Council NSW. Families and children enjoyed a range of food stalls, entertainment, and activities that brought the community together. Informative booths and guest speakers provided valuable insights into cancer prevention, early detection, and available support services. The day was a perfect blend of fun, sports, and meaningful contributions to crucial health causes. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraising efforts and taking the time to support such a great cause.
