I was fortunate to attend the Pakistani Mango & Cultural Festival 2024 that took place at Fairfield Showground on 21 July. The festival celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and one of Pakistan's most famous exports - the mango, with a variety of mangoes and mango based dishes on display and available for tasting and purchase. It was great to see the community come together to celebrate and experience traditional music and dance performances, handicrafts and food, showcasing the diverse cultural traditions of Pakistan. A special mention goes out to the Pakistan High Commission Australia, Pakistan Consulate General Sydney, stall holders, volunteers and sponsors on managing a well run event. A big thank you to High Commissioner for Pakistan in Australia, Mr. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, for inviting me to celebrate. I look forward to the next year's festival.
