On 25 October last year, I had the privilege of attending the Annual Function of the Pak-Aus Engineers Association. It was an event that brought together an impressive group of professionals helping shape the future of engineering in Australia through their experience, and shared commitment to excellence across the sector. The Pak-Aus Engineers Association has grown into a strong platform that connects highly skilled engineers, promotes technical expertise, and amplifies professional influence within industry. Its impact continues to expand, driven by a clear focus on collaboration, innovation, and leadership. Throughout the evening, thoughtful discussions explored cybersecurity and the emerging risks facing the engineering profession, highlighting the importance of staying ahead in a rapidly evolving field. The event also celebrated engineers and entrepreneurs whose work is raising standards, driving innovation, and opening new pathways for the next generation. I thank Insaf Khan and the entire Pak-Aus Engineers Association on another successful year, and commended their ongoing dedication to mentoring, advocacy, and support for engineering professionals across our community.
