On the 31st of May, I was thrilled to step up to the plate at the official opening of the new Oran Park Baseball Facility. This fantastic new venue, delivered through the collaboration of Greenfields Development Company and Camden Council via the Oran Park South VPA, is truly a home run for the local community. With state-of-the-art facilities and plenty of room for both players and fans to knock it out of the park, this new baseball hub promises to be a transformative milestone. The Mets Baseball Club have already begun their season on the field, and I can't wait to see them slide into action and put their skills to the test on this impressive diamond. Beyond the crack of the bat and the excitement of the game, this new space is a real win for Oran Park, fostering teamwork, active lifestyles, and community spirit.
