It was a real honour to cut the ribbon alongside Mayor Darcy Lound, Sally Quinnell MP, Campbelltown-Camden District Club President Morris Iemma and Cricket Australia, at the official opening of the brand-new Raby Indoor Cricket Centre on 16 May — a milestone moment for cricket in our region. This $5.2 million facility features six new indoor lanes and nets that will significantly boost the Campbelltown-Camden Ghosts' elite development programs. But it's not just for the pros — this centre opens the door for the entire community to access top-tier training facilities, rain or shine. It's a standout addition to the growing Raby Sports Complex, further cementing its status as a hub for sporting excellence in the Macarthur. From juniors learning the ropes to seasoned players refining their game, this facility ensures our local cricketers have every chance to succeed. A big thank you to all levels of government for coming together to make this happen — a real win for sport and for our community.
