On 11 June I spent time with our NSW SES Liverpool team during their muster alongside Member for Liverpool Charishma Kaliyanda. It was a great experience to join in and witness firsthand the remarkable and necessary skills and dedication of our volunteers. The camaraderie and professionalism of our SES volunteers was evident throughout the night and the facility itself shows the commitment and hard work that goes into ensuring our community is safe during emergencies. These volunteers are the backbone of our communities safety and whether its responding to floods, storms, bushfires or other emergencies, our SES team is ready to respond at a moments notice. I want to thank each and every one of our SES volunteers and know that your efforts to not go unnoticed or unappreciated. You make our community stronger and safer and we will always support and recognise your invaluable work.
