I am thrilled to share the outcome of the Netball NSW Premier League Grand Final, which I was privileged to attend on Sunday at Netball Central. In a hard‑fought battle, the South West Mounties MAGIC emerged victorious, defeating North Shore United with a final score of 59 to 52. During a first quarter blitz, the MAGIC shot out to a double‑figure lead and never looked back. Spurred on by an army of supporters in green, the MAGIC's determination and teamwork was on full display. Its inaugural season has been nothing short of extraordinary, from finishing fourth in the regular season to winning the championship. While the grand final's most valuable player, Gina Crampton, deserves a special mention, I congratulate all the players, coaches, staff and everyone involved with the Liverpool City Netball Association and Mounties Care. They have made south-west Sydney immensely proud and have also set a high bar for future seasons. I wish them continued success and more silverware in the future. Go the MAGIC!
