So today, it's with a heavy heart that my community says farewell to one of the finest among them—Miss Hallie Baxter. Hallie has led Middleton Grange Public School in my electorate with strength and warmth since its very first day back in 2009. She didn't just build a school—she built a community. The presence of a dedicated teacher can change the course of a child's life. Hallie has done that time and again—offering not just education, but encouragement, belief, and care. Now, after 16 years, she's heading north to greener pastures—quite literally—to be closer to her partner, her cows, and her next adventure as Principal of Coffs Harbour Public School. Hallie, we wish you every success. You leave behind a legacy that will last long after your final day at Middleton Grange Public School, and I have no doubt that the young minds at Coffs Harbour will be in good hands.
