Communities thrive when dedicated individuals step up, and Marijana Nad is the embodiment of that dedication. As president of the Austral Public School P&C for the past seven years, Marijana has worked tirelessly to support students, teachers and families to ensure the school remains a place of opportunity and growth. Her leadership in the P&C has resulted in tens of thousands of dollars being invested in the school, funding vital resources and securing government grants to improve school grounds and sporting facilities. Beyond fundraising, she plays a crucial role in shaping the school's future by serving on merit selection panels for teachers and executive positions. Marijana's generosity extends far beyond the school gates. She has volunteered at Pink Ribbon fundraisers, contributed to charities like One Meal and continues to support the SWAG Family Sydney. Her selfless service has made a lasting impact, and it is my honour to recognise her as the Leppington Local Woman of the Year for 2025.
