On Wednesday 3 May I attended Macarthur FC's medal night. The night recognised and rewarded the achievements of the A‑League's newest and best club over the past season, the highlight of which was the Bulls winning its first major piece of silverware, the Australia Cup, in February. The Macarthur FC Medal was awarded to Ivan Vujica. Filip Kurto was awarded Members Player of the Season; Tima Johns, Club Person of the Season; Tamires Souza, Academy Player of the Year; and Kathleen Dalziel, Academy Volunteer of the Year. The Pat Carbone Award for Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Stephanie Stivala, Katrina Morton, Sia Sainsbury, Karen Hawkes and Lauren Donovan. I congratulate all the recipients of the awards. As a proud foundation member of the Bulls, I thank Macarthur FC's chair, Gino Marra, CEO Sam Krslovic and the entire Bulls organisation for their contribution to the south‑west and the Macarthur region. I look forward to the continuing success of the mighty Bulls for many seasons to come.
