On June 8, I joined the Treasurer Daniel Mookhey, some of my fellow parliamentarians, and leaders from across the South West to launch the Liverpool Innovation Precinct's Investment Prospectus. The prospectus seeks to advance Liverpool as an ideal place to live, work, and play. I joined a panel of my fellow parliamentarians, the Member for Liverpool Charishma Kaliyanda, and the Member for Holsworthy, Tina Ayyad, to discuss what we can do in our capacity to advance our area. Whilst the Liverpool Innovation Precinct is centred on the Liverpool CBD, Leppington is also a big winner.
Western Sydney Airport will deliver jobs and opportunity to the people of Leppington. To unlock this potential, Leppington needs good transport links on day one, and it was fantastic to see the prospectus highlight the necessity of an upgrade of Fifteenth Avenue, which this government is committed to delivering. Thank you to David Borger and Lance Chia for your continuing dedication to the Liverpool Innovation Precinct. I look forward to partnering with this community to unlock the potential of our region.
