On 22 June, I had the privilege of attending the Lifeline Gala Dinner, an inspiring evening where our community came together to make a real difference. The event was not just a fundraiser but a celebration of hope and resilience. We were treated to wonderful entertainment, great company and an exciting live auction that had everyone engaged. I am proud to share that the event raised an incredible $112,000, which will go directly towards suicide prevention and supporting Lifeline's essential services. With one life lost to suicide every four hours in Australia, the importance of this cause cannot be overstated. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, Lifeline will be able to continue providing critical support, ensuring that no one faces their darkest moments alone. Thank you to all those in attendance, your contributions are ensuring that Lifeline can continue to answer over a million calls each year, offering hope and support to those who need it most.
