It was a pleasure to attend the Grand Opening of Leppington Montessori on 23 May, an important addition to the growing Leppington community and a valuable investment in early childhood education. As families continue to move into the area, access to high-quality local education and care services is essential. Centres such as Leppington Montessori provide young children with strong foundations for learning, development and social connection during their most formative years, while also supporting working families close to home. As the 69th centre established by the Montessori Academy Group, the new facility will cater for children aged 0 to 6 through seven classrooms and four modern outdoor play areas, creating a welcoming environment for learning and play. I thank Father Ronnie Maree for blessing the occasion, Director Colette Assaf for her leadership, and everyone involved in organising such a wonderful community event. I wish Leppington Montessori every success as it begins serving local families for many years to come.
