I acknowledge the recent grand opening of the new Garden of Eden Cafe in Eagle Vale, which I had the pleasure of attending over the weekend. I congratulate Messi and his entire team on this exciting milestone. After first establishing itself in Austral, it is fantastic to see the Garden of Eden brand expanding to a second location in Eagle Vale. What makes it even better is that they are both in the electorate of Leppington. It is always great to see a local success story continue to grow. The opening brought together a wonderful crowd from across the community, with plenty of locals stopping by for the $2 coffee opening offer. They were also there to welcome a great new business to their community. Small businesses like the Garden of Eden Cafe are such an important part of my local community. They create jobs, support local families and help bring people together. I again congratulate Messi and the team and wish them every success in Eagle Vale for many years to come.
