It was a pleasure to attend the Edmondson Park Malayalee Association's Awards Night at Ed Square Community Space, celebrating the achievements of local young people following the success of this year's EDMA Got Talent event. The evening recognised children and young people for their accomplishments across a range of activities, giving them the opportunity to be acknowledged in front of their families, friends and the wider community. Events like these are incredibly important because they encourage young people to pursue their interests, build confidence and celebrate the effort that goes into developing their talents. The Edmondson Park Malayalee Association continues to play an important role in bringing families together and fostering a strong sense of belonging across our growing community. Through initiatives like EDMA Got Talent and its annual Awards Night, the association is helping young people thrive while strengthening community connections.
