I recognise and congratulate David Fetterplace as he retires as principal of Clancy Catholic College at the conclusion of this school year. Mr Fetterplace became the college's third principal in 2018 and has presided over some monumental changes at Clancy, including the inauguration of new facilities such as the Dr Mark Turkington college hall, the Michael Bell gymnasium and a 230-seat theatre as part of a state-of-the-art performing arts centre. Mr Fetterplace's tenure has also seen fantastic academic achievements. Last year, Clancy had its best set of HSC results ever, in no small part due to the work of David and the fabulous team at Clancy. I wish Mr Fetterplace all the best as he wraps up at Clancy and thank him for his years of service to the staff, students and parents of Clancy Catholic College, and to the wider community in my electorate of Leppington.
