On March 12, Community Kids Horningsea Park Early Education Centre took an important step in their commitment to reconciliation with a special flag ceremony. As part of their Reconciliation Action Plan, established in November 2024, the centre installed a native garden and flagpole—a powerful symbol of respect and recognition for our First Nations people. This purpose-built childcare and preschool centre fosters a nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. From their expansive outdoor play areas to their use of technology to facilitate learning indoors, every space encourages curiosity and connection. Their dedicated early childhood educators ensure children receive a strong foundation through innovative learning experiences, including a preschool program that prepares them for school. By embedding reconciliation and cultural respect into early education, Community Kids Horningsea Park is momentously shaping a generation that understands and values Australia's Indigenous heritage.
