On 12 November I had the immense privilege of attending the consecration of land by Archbishop Amel Nona for a new Chaldean church in Catherine Field. The sacred event was an important milestone for the local Chaldean community, marking the start of a project that will serve as an important spiritual and cultural sanctuary for my growing electorate. The land consecration brought together church members, community leaders and local families, united in hope and faith. It was a deeply moving ceremony. It was very special to see the dedication and commitment of the Chaldean community in creating a place that will strengthen their cultural heritage and enrich our region for many generations to come. I look forward to witnessing the growth of the project and seeing the community centre and church come together over the months and years ahead.
