On 16 July, I had the honour of celebrating 100 years of Cabra-Vale Diggers – a heartbeat of stories, friendships, and memories shared across generations. From a humble town hall gathering in 1925 to the thriving club we know today, Cabra-Vale Diggers has always been shaped by the people who call it home. Through every chapter – from the first clubhouse in 1946 to the soon-to-open Novotel Sydney Cabramatta – the club has grown incredibly. The unveiling of the new Cabravale Club Resort marks more than a new name; it's a bold step forward. Inspired by the lotus flower, the new identity speaks to renewal, resilience, and shared prosperity. With a $230 million transformation underway, the club looks ahead to a future filled with opportunity – new jobs, new energy, and a renewed pride in place.
