On 16th April, I was thrilled to tour the ongoing upgrade to Fire and Rescue NSW Station 031 Busby with Charishma Kaliyanda, Member for Liverpool. Witnessing the transformation of a facility that was empty and in disrepair just a year ago was truly inspiring. This significant investment in our local emergency services not only enhances our community's safety but also reinstates a crucial asset in our area. Having a fully operational fire station nearby greatly reduces response times in emergencies, potentially saving lives and properties. Moreover, it strengthens community resilience and preparedness, ensuring that residents have immediate access to essential services during critical times. It's uplifting to see our community's safety infrastructure being revitalised, which will undoubtedly serve and protect the people of Busby for many years to come.
