I stand to commend Denham Court Public School Concert Band who participated in the inaugural Band Together Festival at Parramatta Riverside Theatre on 2 July. The Band Together Festival in Parramatta is a two-day music event organised by the Band Together Foundation and School Bands Australia and is designed to celebrate young musical talent and foster community spirit by featuring school bands from across greater Sydney. The dedication and practice put in by the Denham Court Concert Band is truly commendable. Their participation showcases not only their musical talent but also the incredible support and effort from their teachers and parents. I am incredibly proud of these young musicians for their hard work and enthusiasm. Music education is vital for our children's growth and creative development. We need more support for music programs in South-West Sydney. The Denham Court PS Concert Band shows what's possible with dedication and practice. Congratulations to them all!
