I had a great time attending the Austral City Bears Junior Rugby League Club End of Season Presentation Day at Craik Park on 1 November. It was a fantastic afternoon. Relaxed, family-friendly and full of energy. With food trucks, jumping castles, face painting and plenty of smiles, the event truly captured the spirit of community sport. A big congratulations to all the players, coaches, volunteers and sponsors who made this season such a success. Your hard work and dedication week in, week out does not go unnoticed. Special shoutouts to Madison Chahine, the inaugural League Tag Player of the Year, Jacob Manns– Golden Boot Player of the Year, Christian Habib – Rookie of the Year, and Antony Nasser – Try of the Year. And well done to the service award recipients: Elias Mourched, Noah Campbell, Antony Nasser, Eli Angelkovski and Jacob-Reid Kahui. To all players, enjoy the break. You've earned it. Come back next season stronger, sharper and ready for more.
