As members are no doubt aware, Friday 2 June marked National Donut Day. As it is one of the most important days of the year, I celebrated the occasion by visiting Arrow Donuts in my electorate. Arrow Donuts is run by Mitch Ford out of a food truck in the suburb of Leppington. The name Arrow is derived from a mix of his son's names, Archer and Owen, and holds sentimental value for Mitch and the family. He started the business in the aftermath of COVID and it has quickly gone from strength to strength. Not just limited to delicious fresh donuts, Arrow also serves coffee, milkshakes and other delicious desserts—or, as Mitch says, "Everything good." The speciality is the cheesecake donut. After sampling a range of flavours, I am happy to report to the House that there was much deliciousness on offer. My electorate agreed. I am happy to report that Arrow had sold out of donuts after Donut Day. Mitch is a symbol of my electorate's resilient and innovative spirit, and I wish him all success.
