It was great to join the local community for the opening of the new Aquabliss Swim School in Willowdale. The purpose-built facility features an 18-metre learn-to-swim pool and a 25-metre, six-lane pool, giving local families access to quality swimming facilities close to home. Aquabliss has more than 20 years' experience teaching swimming and water safety, and their new Willowdale centre will play an important role in our growing community. Swimming is an essential life skill. Giving children the opportunity to build their confidence in the water from a young age helps keep them safe and active throughout their lives. From babies having their first lessons through to older children developing their technique, this facility will support local families at every stage. As Willowdale and our wider region continue to grow, community facilities like this are increasingly important. Congratulations to the entire Aquabliss team. I'm sure countless local children will learn, grow in confidence and create some great memories here for many years to come.
