That this House:
(1) Acknowledges the significance of natural disasters and its potential impact on the safety and wellbeing of our communities.
(2) Notes the cuts the previous Government made toward essential services such as the New South Wales State Emergency Service (NSW SES) in 2017, which severely hindered their ability to respond effectively to future crises.
(3) Commends the Government on delivering almost 200 new vehicles and vessels to the NSW SES as part of a $25 million upgrade to its flood rescue fleet.
