That this House:

(1) Recognises 7 April 2024 as the day marking the 30th Anniversary of the Rwandan genocide.

(2) Acknowledges the resilience and strength of the local Rwandan-Australian community despite the immense challenges faced during and after the genocide.

(3) Notes the failure of the international community to deliver genuine and lasting democracy, truth and justice in Rwanda and for the Rwandan people.
