Residents of Lismore Street and Hoxton Park have long suffered from traffic chaos and high levels of congestion on their residential streets. The recent closure of Lismore Street to non-residents by Liverpool City Council has not resolved these issues, and mixed messages from Mayor Ned Mannoun about who can access the streets have only increased confusion.

Residents of Hoxton Park need evidence-based, long-term solutions to entrenched traffic issues. We call on Liverpool City Council to conduct a comprehensive traffic study on Lismore Street and surrounding residential streets, and to find sensible solutions to these problems once and for all.
